When we became parents we found ourselves caught between embracing the joy of bringing kids into our world and the daunting mental and physical barriers that sometimes made it feel impossible.
We brought Zoe to life by designing products from a place of real life experience and found that by making strollers and accessories that made it physically easier to get out of the house with our kids, we were able to relieve a lot of the mental burden as well.
As a company, our mission is to give parents the freedom and confidence to live life to the fullest with their kids. As fellow parents, we can’t wait to see where your Zoe takes you.

It turns out that naming a brand comes with a lot of the same requirements as naming a child; it should have a strong meaning, a simple pronunciation, and not remind you of someone you went to school with in a bad way. In Greek Zoe means life, and to us it’s a nice little reminder to celebrate the one you’re creating by getting out there with your kiddo.
Oh, and as for the orange, you’d be hard pressed (pun intended) to find something that represented us better than a classic kids snack that parents trust to add a little extra on-the-go functionality, fun and sweetness to their everyday life.

Why don’t you see Zoe in many stores? Well, because that costs money and typically when something costs a company money the customer pays for it, and that’s just not something that we felt good about. When we realized that we could be saving parents (a lot of) money by selling directly to them, it was a no-brainer for us. We know all too well the mental load that parents carry on a daily basis and how adding one more thing to the “to-do” list can feel overwhelming. That’s why we make sure that when you buy a Zoe, it’s not only going to be easier to get out with your kid, but it will be easy to ask a question, order a replacement part, or just chat about which product is right for your family. Everyone on our side of the chat box is a Zoe parent who knows our products inside and out, because they use them everyday.

In just a few years Zoe has transformed from a company into a community of parents who are living life to the fullest with their kids. Is it a coincidence that most of our full and part time employees are moms? We think not. Our not-so-secret-sauce is the philosophy that becoming a mom is a resume builder, not a career breaker. (Seriously, have you ever seen One Fine Day with Michelle Pfeiffer?) By having women who also happen to have kids at the helm, everything we make and do is rooted in efficiency, understanding and most importantly, empathy.
